The school was founded in 2003. The concept was to offer theatre training of a high standard to young people at an affordable price.
Confidence building and self esteem have always been strong on the agenda within the school. The enjoyment and the sense of achievement the pupils must surely have gained is self evident, as the school has more than trebled since it was founded. |

The heart of Playrite has remained the same. We know each pupil individually and endeavour to teach in a style specifically to cater to their talents, needs and aspirations.
All basic disciplines i.e. Drama, Dance and Singing are taught by qualified and enthusiastic teachers who enjoy their work and have respect and a great understanding of their pupils.
We pride ourselves not only on our standards and undisputed achievements but also we feel we really do deserve the title that many have given as;
